(Quinte West, ON) – On August 31st, 2016, at approximately 2:45pm officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended the intersection of Front Street and Dundas Street West in Trenton for the report of a pedestrian being struck by a motor vehicle.
Quinte West Fire Department and Hastings-Quinte EMS also attended the location. As a result of the collision a 69 year old female was transported to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators also attended to the scene to assist with the investigation.
Dundas Street West was closed for several hours until the investigation was completed.
