On December 5, 2013 at 9:49 a.m., the Guelph Police attended to the area of Woolwich Street and Marilyn Drive to investigate the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. It is alleged that a four door Toyota struck the pedestrian as he crossed Woolwich Street at Marilyn Drive. The 81-year-old male pedestrian received minor injuries. The collision caused traffic to be disrupted until shortly after 11:00 a.m., while police investigated.
The collision is still under investigation and witnesses are asked to contact the investigating officer Cst. Greg Kaut of Traffic Services at 519-824-1212, extension #7480.
