(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at approximately 11:53 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Toronto Road, Flesherton, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
The pedestrian, a 16 year old male from Grey Highlands, was struck by a 1998 Chevrolet pick-up truck when crossing the street in the crosswalk. He was taken to hospital with a minor leg injury.
The driver of the vehicle, 16 year old Allan TIMBERS, of Grey Highlands, was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
