(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – On November 13, 2015 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers along with Wellington North Fire Services (Arthur), responded to a report of a pedestrian injured on George St. in Arthur. A passing motorist observed the female standing in the middle of the road waiting for traffic. After passing the female, the motorist looked in his rear view mirror and saw the female lying on the roadway.
Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS) attended and transported the 64-year-old female to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
It is unknown what caused the injury and Wellington County OPP are asking any witnesses to the event to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
