PEACOCK – Drunk Driving

(Bancroft, Ontario) – During the early morning hours on the 10th of April 2016, police officers with the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) were conducting a R.I.D.E. stop check program on Boulter Road in Carlow-Mayo Township. During that program, officers had interaction with the driver of a vehicle, where grounds were obtained to believe that driver had been consuming alcohol. The driver provided a breath sample into a roadside screening device, which indicated that the driver’s blood alcohol level was above the legal limit.

The driver of the vehicle was brought back to the Bancroft O.P.P. Detachment, where he provided a sample of his breath to a qualified breathalyser technician. As a result of an analysis of that sample, charged with operating a motor vehicle with more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood is 20 year old Bradley Peacock of Brundenell-Lyndock-Raglan Township. He was released on a Promise to Appear notice, with a first appearance date of the 26th of April 2016 in Bancroft Court.
