(TINY TOWNSHIP) – Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint from a concerned citizen on July 15, 2016 at 7:46 p.m. The caller’s attention was drawn to a black Volkswagen Jetta that was travelling at a high rate of speed along Park Road and Tiny Beaches Road South in Tiny Township.
Police located the vehicle a short time later on Park Road. As a result of their investigation, police have charged the driver Paul James BARLESS (age 35) of Toronto with:
Careless Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Driving While under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Penetanguishene on September 15, 2016
