(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) – Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint from an off-duty police officer about a possibly impaired driver in a parking lot near Depot Drive in Bracebridge around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday March 3, 2016.
Police arrived, located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. As a result of their investigation, police have charged 56 year-old Philip PATTERSON of Bracebridge with Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in his Blood CC 253(1)(b). The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on April 5, 2016 to answer to his charges.
The accused received an immediate 90 day driver’s licence suspension and further had his vehicle towed and impounded.
