Patrick STRANG – Drunk Driving, Stolen Vehicle, Flight From Police

(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON) On December 25, 2014 at 12:30 am Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen motor vehicle taken from Lac Seul First Nation.

Police located the vehicle on Highway 664 and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The vehicle failed to stop for police. Police continued to attempt to stop the vehicle which eventually pulled over on Highway 72.

Patrick STRANG (20 years) of Lac Seul First Nation was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Operate Motor Vehicle Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in 100 Milligrams of Blood, Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent and Flight From Police contrary to the Criminal Code. He will appear in Sioux Lookout Court on January 27, 2015 to answer to the charges.
