Patrick Jerome ROBERT – Trafficking Cocaine, etc

On November 5, 2014, officers conducted a traffic stop in Chatham as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. On this date, the man was charged with driving while under suspension and released pending a future court date. His vehicle was towed from the roadway as per the Vehicle Impoundment Program.

Through investigation and as a direct result of this traffic stop, the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant on the vehicle the next day. This resulted in the recovery of $14,339.00 worth of cocaine, $14,246.00 of processed cannabis marihuana and additional Canadian currency.

On November 14, 2014, officers located and arrested Patrick Jerome ROBERT, 31 years, of Orchard Heights in Chatham for the offences of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine), Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cannabis Marihuana) and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing today.
