(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On November 18, 2016 at 6:15 a.m., Members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police were called to a residence in Parry Sound regarding a theft.
On arrival, officers learned that items had been taken by a female known to the victim. Police began to look for the female who was located a short time later.
As a result of the investigation,
Patricia BROWN, 45 years of age from Parry Sound was arrested and charged with;
Theft Under $5000, contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CC)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
