Parking Dispute Ends With Criminal Charges For Repeat Offenders

(QUINTE WEST, ON) On May 7, 2018 at approximately 1:12 P.M. officers from the Quinte West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended The Motel 6 located at 10 Trenton Street, in the City of Quinte West for a physical altercation involving a weapon which commenced over a parking dispute.

Joshua WILSON, a 21 year old male of Quinte West, has been arrested and charged with:

Weapons Dangerous – S.88 C.C.C

Assault with a Weapon – S.267 (a) C.C.C

Utter Death Threat – S.264.1(1)(a) C.C.C

Cause Disturbance by Fighting S.175(1)(a) C.C.C

Breach Probation – S.733.1(1) C.C.C

David C.J. SIMPSON, a 33 year old male from British Columbia, has been arrested and charged with:

Assault – S.266 C.C.C

Cause Disturbance by Fighting – S.175(1)(a) C.C.C

Fail to Comply with Probation Order – S. 733.1(1) C.C.C

No serious injuries were sustained by either involved party.
