(OXFORD COUNTY, ON) – Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is urging motorists to refrain from unnecessary travel throughout the county this morning due to poor driving conditions in several areas.
Current Highway Closures:
Highway 401 westbound at Highway #2. Closed between Highway #2 and Highway #59 due to collisions.
Highway 403 westbound at Highway #53 (County Road #55). Closed between Highway #53 and Highway #24 due to collisions
Motorists are reminded to respect the road closure signs or barricades that are in place. And also to drive according to road conditions and give yourself extra time to get to your destination safely.
All motorists are encouraged to check weather and road travel conditions by calling 511 or online at www.Ontario.ca/trip for up to date road conditions for provincially maintained highways.
