On August 13 th , 2017 shortly after midnight, Owen Sound Police were contacted by an alert citizen who had observed a male party looking into windows of businesses in the area of 14 th Street and 2 nd Avenue West. Police attended the area and quickly located a male party matching the description of the prowler. Upon observing police, the male threw a tin which was found to contain a small quantity of narcotics. The male party was arrested and searched. Police found the male to be in possession of break and enter tools as well as a mask and rubber gloves. The 24 year old Owen Sound man will appear in court in September to answer to charges of possession of break
and enter tools and possession of narcotics.
