At approximately 11:30 p.m. Sunday, November 15th police were dispatched to the downtown core in relation to a suspected impaired driver. Having been provided with the suspect vehicle’s licence plate, police located the vehicle as the driver was returning to her west side residence.
Investigation led to the 44 year old’s arrest for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. Breath samples provided to a qualified Intoxilyzer Technician led to an additional charged of operating a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 ml of blood. The driver’s vehicle was seized for the mandatory 7-day period and her driver’s licence is suspended for 90 days.
Her 1st appearance date at court is November 26th, 2015.
