On Saturday February 4 th , 2017 members of the Owen Sound Police Service responded to a disturbance at an east side restaurant. This investigation led to a domestic assault allegation which occurred in Owen Sound earlier in the week. A female victim did not sustain any injury from that incident.
As a result of this investigation a 49 year old Owen Sound man was arrested and is being held in custody for a Sunday morning bail hearing to answer to numerous charges. Charges include two counts of assault, uttering threats, unlawfully in a dwelling and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
