On October 6, 2015, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service arrested two adult males and an adult female for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. In excess of two ounces of heroin was seized, along with quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine. On October 7, 2015, a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was executed on a Cambridge address where two of the three adults reside. Further quantities of cocaine powder, heroin, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, marihuana, and a prohibited weapon was seized. A 37 year old Cambridge male and a 30 year old Cambridge female are charged with numerous criminal offences and are scheduled for a showcause hearing.
