(Selwyn Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the area of Mallard Drive and O’Connor Drive in Selwyn Township just before 2:00am early Sunday morning. Area residents complained that there were vehicles driving through the fields and numerous intoxicated youths lying on the roadway.
OPP officers arrived to find more than 100 intoxicated partygoers causing traffic hazards in the area. As a result of the party the Peterborough County OPP are currently investigating a number of assault allegations stemming from the field party.
