Ottawa Police seeks assistance in solving a bank robbery

(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a bank robbery suspect.

On November 21, 2013 at 11:05am, a bank robbery occurred on the 400 block of Preston St. The lone suspect produced a note making a demand for cash. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapons were seen. The suspect was seen going to a grey or silver SUV, described as older or “boxy”, and driving away with a female passenger. The vehicle was last seen travelling northbound on Preston.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, mid-30’s, with tanned or darker complexion, dark eyes, 5’10” (178 cm), with a normal build (see attached images.)

The waiting passenger is described as being a Caucasian female, also with tanned skin or darker complexion, mid 20’s, shoulder length black hair, slim build.
