(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Section is investigating a sexual assault that occurred in the East end of Ottawa.
On October 17, 2013, at approximately 1:50am, a 29-year-old female, who was carrying a computer tower, exited the Blair Transit Station and walked east on Ogilvie Road. A male suspect followed her for a period of time.
He tried to engage her in conversation and then pushed her into a secluded area on Ogilvie Road, between Blair Road and Jasmine Crescent, and he sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is described as a dark skinned male, 28-32 years old, 5’8†(173cm), medium build, black curly hair, wearing baggy jeans and a dark spring jacket. He was English speaking with no accent.
