(Ottawa)â€â€The Ottawa Police Service is advising that Patrick GUITARD, 50 years old, of Ottawa, has been charged for assaulting an O.C. Transpo bus driver.
On Monday, March 3rd, 2014, GUITARD boarded a City of Ottawa O.C. Transpo bus on Waller Street while intoxicated. GUITARD became belligerent and aggressive towards the driver and assaulted him while the bus was still in motion. The bus swerved into opposite traffic direction lane, resulted in no collisions.
The victim (driver) suffered no injuries,
Patrick GUITARD will be going to showcause today facing charges of:
Assault x 1
Causing a Disturbance x 1
Intoxicated x 1
Breach of Probation x 1
