(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a male party involved in an incident on Simcoe Street in the City of Orillia.
On Tuesday April 1, 2014 between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., an unidentified male approached 3 school aged children on Simcoe Street and made inappropriate comments.
The male made no motion toward the children and was last seen walking on High Street. A similar occurrence took place on Simcoe Street on February 12, 2014. The Orillia OPP is currently investigating the incidents but is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the male.
The male was described as in his 20’s, 5’5 – 5’8â€Â, with a thin build, short blondish hair, wearing a hoodie and black shoes.
The OPP would like to remind parents to speak to their children about talking to strangers and to report any contact of this type to police.
