OPP YOUTH LEADERSHIP CAMP STUDENTS PREPARING FOR FOOD DRIVE

(CALEDON, ON) – The Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is hosting its’ annual OPP Youth Leadership Camp during the week of August 5th to the 9th inclusive. Several community activities have been planned to engage the youth. On Tuesday, August 6th at 1 pm, Caledon OPP members along with 18 youths will be picking up non-perishable food items from residences in the Village of Caledon. All of the donations will be distributed to local food banks and shelters.

Organizers are requesting that if homeowners are away to leave the food items in a bag at their front door or on their doorsteps.

The Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police thanks supporters in advance for their donations to this worthwhile cause and their commitment to the youth of our community.
