OPP Warn Of Potential Road Test Fraud

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On March 13, 2015 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted in regards to a potential fraud related to booking a driving test. In this situation a local party provided personal information, including a credit card number. The credit card was billed $120.00 prior to its cancellation.

The OPP is warning that the site www.bookyourroadtest.com appears to be a fraudulent site. Providing personal information, especially when related to banking information should be done with extreme caution when using the internet.
