OPP WARN OF LARGE EXOTIC CAT SIGHTING

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) Over the past couple of weeks, the Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment has had two complaints of a large cat like animal in the area of Raymond Road then again on Stephenson Road #2 West Huntsville.

OPP have consulted with the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR), who had also been contacted about the animal. It is believed that the animal described is indeed a large exotic cat. The OPP along with the MNR would like to remind the public in that particular area to keep an eye on their small animals as they would for bear sightings.

The OPP and MNR will be monitoring the area and if anyone should happen to see similar animal sightings is asked to contact either ministry.
