(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at approximately 5:44 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a theft from vehicle report on Grey Rd. 1 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs in which some change and some chocolate bars were taken. Police continued to receive similar theft reports throughout the day. A total of 14 vehicles; a trailer and a garage; all located on Grey Rd. 1, had been entered sometime overnight. Stolen items included change, lottery tickets, cell phones, change, cigarettes and meat.
These types of thefts are preventable by simply ensuring that your vehicles are locked and your valuables are kept out of plain view.
