(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On September 6, 2014 an officer from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a vehicle stop on Highway 35 near Mount Horeb Road after observing the vehicle to be travelling at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle was travelling at 174km/h in an 80 km/h zone. The driver, Bryan MC DONALD, 29 years of age, of Pickering, was charged with racing a motor vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. His licence was suspended and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on October 14, 2014.
