(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – Members of the Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have been actively engaged in the OPP’s Provincial Road Safety Program by getting impaired drivers off Ontario roadways.
From January 3 – January 5, 2014 Northumberland OPP have arrested four drivers for drinking and driving under the Criminal Code along with Highway Traffic Act and other provincial statutes offences. The dates, locations, accused and charges are as follows:
January 3 – 9:05 pm

Jonathan NOSTROME, 36, Laval, Quebec – charges: drive while ability impaired / care and control while impaired to appear in Ontario Court of Justice – Cobourg on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, 9:30 am.

Cindy Davidson, 46, Corunna, Ontario – charges: impaired operation / over 880 mgs to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on Wednesday

Steven M. COLE, 54, Brighton, Ontario – charges: over 80 mgs – Criminal Code / drive under suspension –Highway Traffic Act to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Brighton on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 9:30 am.

Charles John BOYUK, 36, Cobourg, Ontario – charges: impaired operation / over 80 mgs / drive disqualified – Criminal Code. Driving while under suspension / drive motor vehicle- no validation on plate / fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle/ speeding 134 km/h in a posted 100 km/h zone – Highway Traffic Act. Fail to have insurance card – Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act. – Accused was held for bail hearing on Sunday January 5, 2014 in Cobourg.
