OPP SEEKING PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE AFTER LARGE PILE OF SHINGLES DUMPED IN ROADWAY

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment investigated an act of mischief at a 13th Concession, North Walsingham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

Between Saturday, November 22, 2014 and Monday, November 24, 2014, unknowns attended the address and proceeded to dump a large pile of roofing shingles in the travelled portion of the roadway. A concerned motorist travelling on 13th Concession avoided the traffic hazard and immediately contacted authorities.

“Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. This is a very dangerous act that had the potential to cause a collision and injury to the operator of the vehicle or another innocent motorist travelling on the roadway. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122,” comments Constable Ed Sanchuk, Norfolk County OPP.
