(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is seeking the assistance of the public after police were called to a Highway 59, North Walsingham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at approximately 11:47 a.m., police were contacted by a concerned homeowner after they noticed that their family dog was missing.
Through investigation, it has been determined that the animal had been outside and has never been known to leave the property. The homeowner heard a vehicle honk its horn and shortly thereafter the family dog went missing.
The dog is being described as a light brown, Shepard mix, 40 lbs, approximately 7 years of age, and was wearing a collar with a tag and identification number.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
