(Stone Mills, ON) – On August 30, 2014 officers of the Napanee detachment‎ of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) attended a residence on Carroll Road, Tamworth to execute a search warrant.
After arrival, the suspect fled the scene. The OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and TRU with the assistance of the OPP helicopter, searched the area with negative results.
Charlie WAY, 61, is wanted on a warrant in the First Instance for:
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Careless Storage of a Firearm
Possess a Loaded Restricted Weapon
Possession of a Firearm Contrary to a Prohibition Order

Wearing dark clothing
The OPP are asking the public to report any unknown persons in the area and report suspicious activity immediately by calling 911. Do not approach him.
