(PICKLE LAKE, ON) – On April 6, 2014 at approximately 4:00pm, officers with the Pickle Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) check on Highway 599 at Pickle Lake Road. During the RIDE officers located a quantity of marihuana in a passenger vehicle that was stopped.
As a result of the investigation Nathan SABKO, 19 years old of Pickle Lake has been charged with Possession of a Schedule II Substance (Cannabis Marihuana) contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Pickle Lake May 2, 2014.
