OPP RESPONDED TO STORM RELATED CALLS

(LAMBTON, ON) Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to about twenty storm related calls from the Sept 11, 2013 thunderstorm that rolled through Lambton.

Trees across roads, wires down, and hydro outages sent OPP officers to various locations throughout the county. Two motor vehicle incidents are also being reported, with one involving a pick-up truck striking a fallen tree and then a tree falling on a vehicle that had been stopped at a stop sign in Petrolia.

At this time, no injuries are being reported and there is no storm-damage cost estimate.
