(FORT FRANCES, ON.) – On November 13, 2013 at 3:24 pm, officers of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Rainy River District Emergency Medical Services responded to a roll over collision involving an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV). The incident occurred on LaVallee Road North approximately 8.9 kilometres north of Highway 11 in LaVallee Township.

When officers initially arrived on scene, they tended to the ATV driver, a 20 year old Fort Frances man. Paramedics arrived on scene and transported the male to the hospital in Fort Frances. He was later air lifted to a hospital in Thunder Bay where he remains in serious condition.
