OPP REQUESTS ASSISTANCE IN A HIT AND RUN

(CITY OF TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) – On October 29, 2013 at

approximately 7:48 p.m. members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a motor vehicle

collision on Highway 65 East.

A pedestrian was struck by a west bound vehicle which then fled the

scene west bound. The vehicle is best described as a newer Ford

model pick-up truck with a tow-package and believed to have a

broken passenger side mirror.

The pedestrian was transported by ambulance to the hospital and has

non-life threatening injuries.
