(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Norfolk County Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a bank robbery at the Bank of Montreal in Waterford, at approximately 12:01 p.m. on August 29th, 2014.
Officers arrived at the bank a short time later and were advised of a vehicle that was possibly involved. Officers from the Haldimand County OPP observed suspect vehicle north bound on Highway 6, between Hagersville and Caledonia. The officer activated all his emergency lights in attempt to stop the vehicle. The suspect vehicle continued north bound for several kilometers before attempting to turn onto Argyle Street in Caledonia. The suspect vehicle collided with two vehicles at the intersection of Highway 6 and Argyle Street. The two suspects fled on foot but were apprehended a short time later by Haldimand County OPP officers. Fortunately no one sustained any major injuries from the collision.
