OPP NAB CALEDON DRIVER IN MONO FOR STUNT DRIVING

(MONO, ON) – On December 29th at 3:50 p.m. Dufferin OPP traffic unit observed a Mercedes Benz sedan southbound on King’s Highway 10 at the 10 side road of Mono. The vehicle was clocked in radar at 132 kms per hour in a posted 80 km/hour zone.

Police initiated a traffic stop and pulled over the vehicle. The 24 year old male driver from Caledon identified himself with a valid Ontario driver’s license.

As a result of a police investigation the driver had his vehicle and driver’s license impounded immediately for 7 days. He was charged with Stunt driving and issued a Provincial Offences Part 3 summons to appear in Orangeville Court at a later date.
