(Russell, ON) On October 24, 2014, members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) – Project Paradigm and members of the Emergency Response team (ERT) and Russell County OPP Crime Unit executed a Search Warrant in the town of Russell, resulting in the seizure of methamphetamine as well as a large quantity of stolen tools.
The investigation is ongoing and Russell County OPP is asking any members of the public residing in the Russell area who have recently been victims of break and enters or theft from vehicles involving the theft of tools to contact the Russell County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
Nikolas SPEROTTO (19) was arrested and charged with the following:
Possession of a substance in Schedule I (methamphetamine) C.D.S.A. Section 4(1)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under 5000$
He was released on a Promise to Appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, L’Orignal, on November 26th 2014.
