(ALMAGUIN HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Sunday, August 24, 2014, shortly before 7:30 p.m., members of the Almaguin Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an incident where a 7 year old boy fell into the Magnetawan River.
Members of the Burks Falls Fire Department, Burks Falls Ambulance Service along with OPP officers from neighbouring detachments, marine unit, canine, Emergency Response Team (ERT), Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU), crime as well as Forensic Identification Service (FIS) have attended and are currently on scene assisting in locating this young boy.
Corbin SOUTH is described as being approximately 4-feet tall, 50 pounds with short blond hair and blue eyes.
