(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding the public to protect their property and valuables against would be thieves after receiving a report of a theft from a Youngs Creek Road, Woodhouse, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
Between Sunday, October 27, 2013 and Wednesday, November 6, 2013, unknown suspects attended the address and made their way to the backyard of the residence and removed a generator.
The generator is being described as a Generic XG Professional Series 8000 watt, with a 410 CCHVI generic engine. The generator weighed approximately 500 lbs.
The theft is estimated at approximately $1,300 dollars.
The OPP would like to remind all community residents that if they see suspicious persons or vehicles, try to obtain as much detail as you can, write down the person(s) description, the type of vehicle they are driving and the licence plate number.
Then don’t delay, call the police and report it. 1 – 888 – 310 – 1122 will put you in contact with the nearest O.P.P. Communications Centre to report the activity. OPP (677) on your cellular will also work.
