(CORUNNA, ON) – The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate an armed robbery that occurred on October 6, 2014 at around 1:45 p.m. at the RBC Royal Bank situated on Lyndoch Street in Corunna. No injuries were sustained during the incident.
The male suspect is described as being 5’ 9†tall, and was wearing a black jacket with a logo on the front left side, light blue jeans and white runners. He was last seen running through the parking lot towards Murray Street. The suspect is believed to be in possession of a firearm.
Lambton County OPP members, the West Region Canine Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team and the West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit attended the scene and conducted a search of the area. The West Region OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit has also been called in to assist with the investigation.
