OPP INVESTIGATING FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION – Highway 7 Re-Opened

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – At approximately 7:05 a.m. the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted in regards to a two vehicle head on collision that occurred on Highway 7, East of Emily Park Road. Highway 7 was closed between Emily Park Rd and Bethel Road for several hours while the OPP’s Technical Collision Investigation unit investigated the collision.

Highway 7 is now re-opened.

Jacob REED, 37 years of age, of Lindsay died as a result of the collision.
