(THUNDER BAY, ON) On Monday, July 29 2013 at approximately 12:40pm, officers from the Thunder Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment were checking on the wellbeing of a 55 year old woman who resided alone on Northside Road in Strange Township. At that time the officers discovered the female deceased.
Police are investigating the cause of the death and are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination which is to take place in Toronto on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Police are holding the scene pending the outcome of the post mortem. The death has not been deemed suspicious at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
