(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) – Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are continuing their investigation into a person found deceased at a residence in Collingwood on Tuesday shortly after 10:00am.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by Detectives from Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Detachment OPP Crime Unit under the direction of Acting Detective Inspector Jim Gorry of the Ontario Provincial Police Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB). The OPP Forensics Identification Services Unit (FISU) is also assisting.
A post mortem examination was completed at the Office of the Chief Coroner located in Toronto and investigators are awaiting toxicology results. This is an ongoing investigation and further details will be released when they become available.
