OPP INVESTIGATING BREAK AND ENTER

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a break and enter at a 6th Concession Road ENR, Houghton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Monday, August 18, 2014 in the early morning hours unknown suspects attended JL Hayward Logistics and proceeded to forcibly gain entry. Once inside, unknowns removed approximately 5 laptop computers, fax machine and printer.

The OPP recognize that break and enters continue to remain an all-too common occurrence in Canada, with more than 200,000 reported to police annually of which 6 in 10 are residential. Another 30% are businesses and 10% are other locations such as sheds and detached garages.
