(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a Break and Enter at a Sylvia Street, Waterford, Norfolk County, ON address.
On Monday, July 29, 2013 in the early morning hours, unknowns attended the address and gained entry into a utility shed located on the property. Once inside, unknowns removed a mini dirt bike, Broil King barbeque, gas powered generator, Giant bicycle, BMX bicycle, tires, rims and various hand tools.
The theft is valued at approximately $4,500 dollars.
The OPP want to remind all Norfolk County residents that if they observed anyone acting suspicious in or around their property or your neighbours property to please contact the police.
The OPP recognize that break and enters continue to remain an all-too common occurrence in Canada, with more than 200,000 reported to police annually of which 6 in 10 are residential. Another 30% are businesses and 10% are other locations such as sheds and detached garages.
