(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) On March 1, 2014 just before 11:00 p.m. Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Northville Fire Department and Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a report of a snowmobile collision in an agriculture field.
Lambton OPP found that two snowmobiles had been travelling through a field located in the area of Goosemarsh Line and Museum Road, when one of the snowmobiles only, collided with a parked farm combine machine. The second snowmobile operator subsequently contacted emergency services
Lambton OPP arrived and found a male driver, deceased at the scene. Lambton OPP has identified the male driver as Sean (Doug) HUMPHRIES, 50 years of age, from Lambton Shores, ON.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) was called in to assist with the investigation. OPP officers are no longer at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
