(Oro-Medonte, ON) – Barrie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to a house fire on May 12th, 2014 at 4:52 am. Police and Oro-Medonte Fire Department responded to a house fire on Line 10 North in Oro-Medonte Township.
A resident who was in the home at the time of the fire was transported to a local hospital and later air lifted to a Toronto area Hospital where they succumbed to their injuries and is deceased, a post mortem was conducted.
Coroner, OPP and Fire Marshal continue to investigate, no foul play is suspected. Police and the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) are still investigating the fire.
