(Caledon,ON)- on September 20 at 12:50 pm Caledon OPP were dispatched to the scene of serious personal injury two vehicle collision. The collision occurred on Highway 10th south of Charleston side road in Town of Caledon.
Peel Region EMS and Caledon Fire Department attended the scene.
Preliminary investigation reveals two compact cars collided and one of occupants has succumbed to injuries as result was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
OPP Technical Traffic Investigators are en route to the scene.
UPDATE: OPP are confirming that this collision was discovered by patrolling Caledon OPP officer travelling southbound.
2nd UPDATE: OPP are now identifying lone male driver of 2002 Honda Civic sedan killed in this collision. Edward FOULGER, 54 years of age of Orangeville,Ontario succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and occupant of the 2000 White Hyundai sedan were taken to hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries
