(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) of the Bracebridge detachment is investigating a daytime break and enter on Manitoba Street, in the Town of Bracebridge.
On July 24, 2014 at 4:05 pm the OPP was dispatched to a report of a break and enter into a residence on Manitoba Street, in the Town of Bracebridge. A male suspect entered the residence and began taking items from the home. A 13-year-old male who happened to be home at the time verbally confronted the suspect. The suspect fled on foot, leaving the stolen items behind.
No one was injured in this incident.
The male was described as having short black hair with a goatee, muscular/slim build, approximately 5’8†-5’10â€Â, and tattoos on both arms.
The Emergency Response Team (ERT), and the K-9 Unit searched the area for the male but were unable to locate the suspect.
