(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On July 21 2015 just after 7:00pm Huntsville OPP attended a local residence to investigate a complaint of animal cruelty. Huntsville OPP was approached by a local landlord who reported dogs that appeared to have been abandoned in one of his rental units.
Police attended the address and detected a strong odour coming from inside. Through a window police could see 7 dogs and 3 cats. No food or water could be seen available for the animals. Police entered the residence and found the animals were in need of care and the residence was in disarray.
Muskoka Society for the Prevention of Cruelty towards Animals ( SPCA) was contacted, investigation continuing
